Land – Batuu (Black Spire Outpost)
Located in Batuu, Oga’s is a not to miss experience for all Star Wars fans. Have you ever wanted to visit that Cantina in Star Wars, where Luke hired Han Solo? Well this is about as close as you can get. Reservations are required so make sure you get them as soon as you can, so you don’t miss out. Once you arrive, you can check in on your app and the host will call you when your place is ready. There is some seating available, but most of the time you will be required to stand at a table, or at the bar. When your place is ready, the host/hostess will lead you to your location. The drinks here are really interesting and there are quite a few to choose from, including some non-alcoholic as well. Children are allowed so feel free to bring them along also.

We arrived about 15 minutes early and got seated right on time. We were led to to the bar and introduced to one of the bartenders. Not having been there before, but doing some research ahead of time, I knew what I wanted, but I wanted to look around a bit first. Some of the drinks are just plain fun to get, but most are built around vodka, Tequila, Rum and one with Bourbon. I am a bourbon fan, so I went with the Jet Juice. It wasn’t a huge drink, but it was tasty. It had that sweet juice flavor with the Pomegranate liqueur, the white grape juice and lemon juice, but with the bourbon base and just a hint of spice from the Chile liqueur. After watching some of the drinks get poured around me and the fun that the bartenders have serving them, I asked the bartender about some of the popular ones. She showed me a few of them and even let me try a sample of the Black Spire Brew, a non alcoholic drink made with Joffrey’s Cold brew, honey, passion fruit, citrus and falernum. It was a strange combination of coffee and fruit, not bad but I didnt go for the full drink. I finally settled on a fun drink known as a Bespin Fizz, a drink that the Bartender said I wasnt excited enough for what I was about to get, so he stopped everyone on our side of the bar to watch and give their ohhhhs and ahhhhs. The drink itself was very good and it bubbled with turbulence the entire time I drank it. Cheryl was still full from lunch so she didn’t drink anything. Once I finished my Bespin Fizz, we thanked the bartender and paid for our drinks. All together the two drinks and tip came to about $40, a little expensive, but great for the experience.
